Her supporters will defend it, her critics will use it against her.

hypocrite is the word that comes to mind.

  3. Pam says:

“Tony Knowles, a Democratic former governor of Alaska who lost to Palin in a 2006 bid to reclaim the job, said he never charged the state for his three children’s commercial flights or claimed their travel as official state business.”

He LOST to Palin!! lol Plus he is not a mother.

EDIT: Is this a better option for working mothers? Would this be cheaper for the state of Alaska?

    Workplace childcare

Workplace childcare centers are provided by EMPLOYERS. One of the most rapidly growing options, corporate daycare is gaining popularity because employers are recognizing that providing onsite daycare is not only a nice benefit for employees but makes excellent business sense. Employers that provide daycare find they improve employee moral, productivity and retention, says Ann Douglas, author of The Unofficial Guide to Childcare.

  4. I reckon about Barack Obama’s 20 years at the Trinity United Church where he screamed “GOD DAM AMERICA!” with Jeremiah Wright.

  5. That One! says:

This is just the tip of the iceburg. This woman abused her political offices for her own personal benefit, time after time.

The media is also beginning to investigate her dealings with a contractor in Wasilla, in which she was bribed by the contractor. The contractor was given the rights to build the largest building project in Wasilla history, the infamous hockey rink. In exchange, the contractor built her house. But since Sarah Palin did away with building permits in Wasilla, no paper trail was left.

This is Saraccuda’s next major scandal. Ethics reformer my a**!

  6. Gisela V says:

I reckon it should also be reported that Michelle Obama got a very large pay raise when her husband became the Senator of Illinois but that’s not on the news anywhere. At this point I don’t believe anything I read about the Republicans because it’s very obvious the mainstream media is attacking them while not reporting on any of the inappropriate behavior of the Obama’s.

  7. so Chelsey was always paid for to go everywhere out of her parents’ pocket? All the presidents and Govs. have to pay for their children out of their own pocket? Well, if Obama wins he sure as he** better not take his daughters anywhere with him unless it is really on his dime…This is the stupidest thing I have ever heard!

  8. rod says:

Hey mommyto2girls…got any facts to back up your allegation about Chelsea?

And even if you do, how does that make it OK to the people of Alaska that their governor is using their money for whatever she wants and then goes back to ‘amend’ the expense reports before releasing them?

  9. Shiori_hime says:

In the cases when the kids were expressly invited WITHOUT Palin asking if they could come, I would say that could count as official state business and is probably okay (though I question how any of the kids, especially one as young as Piper, could be conducting any kind of “official state business”). In all the other cases, though, I say not cool at all. I know her desire to spend more time with her kids, but the taxpayers shouldn’t have to foot the bill for that. If she wants or needs to bring them along when their attendance isn’t expressly requested by the event organizers, she should pay for their travel expenses herself.
